We’ve been on nature hunts this week collecting interesting and beautiful objects to support our number recognition and counting.We’ve created a class piece of artwork this week. We’ve been looking at spirals in nature and have worked together to make a very unique and colourful piece of art for our corridor. Look back here next Friday for a picture of the finished result. We’ve been excited this half term to be using the large apparatus. We’re practising different ways of travelling, climbing and jumping and balancing. In our maths learning we’ve been learning about estimating and measuring. We’ve been using cubes to measure pictures of farm animals but not before estimating how many cubes we think the width and height of each one is.
