This half term we’re starting our math learning with the topic ‘money’. This is always a topic that is really easy to help with at home so feel free to get those piggy banks out and start counting coins!
On Tuesday we looked at all the coins and notes available to us in the UK. We then played a game where I gave them an amount and they had to make that amount with coins and notes… but they couldn’t have the same coins and notes as someone else on their table. It was great fun and the children were SO inventive with their combinations!
