We are learning that sometimes a grapheme can have 2 or more sounds – for example ‘ow’ in ‘now’ or in ‘slow’, or ‘g’ in ‘goat’ or in ‘giant’.
Skipper 1 are really in ‘full flow’ with phonics – their increase in confidence and progress during the lessons is fantastic! 😊
