In our Geometry lessons this half term we are exploring 5 in nature.
When we went searching in our school grounds we discovered it is all around us! Eagle-eyed Skipper 1 found purple geraniums, blossom on the strawberry plants and a buttercup – all with 5 petals.
We even found 5 in our fruit at snack time – we loved the ‘secret star’ inside our apples and spotted that the stalks on our tomatoes had 5 points!
Look out for the special 5 in nature in your garden or when you are out and about – we’d love to know if you spot anything!
