We’ve continued our place value work this week and we’ve even started partitioning numbers using what we know about the value of digits in two digit numbers. We had a class vote and voted for our favourite traditional tale that we’ve heard over the last few weeks. The Three Billy Goats Gruff was the most popular so we began by story mapping the story. We’ll be writing the story and innovating it over the next couple of weeks. We had a great time in PE playing some team games that involved some maths too. Ask us about Sharks and Islands and Aliens and Astronauts, the two games we played. We were enjoying them so much we spent the whole afternoon in the big hall!
