In our maths learning we’ve been looking at place value. We’ve started by looking at the digits in a teen number and what each digit represents. We’ve had a big focus on a group of ten. Keep an eye on the school website for the official Sports Day photos coming soon. We had a great time practicing our races and supporting our classmates. Our literacy work for the next few weeks is focused on Traditional Tales. You probably know lots that you can retell or read to your child at home. We’ve read lots already and have started writing character profiles and sentences about what we already know about characters from some popular stories. Don’t forget to check out the home learning suggestions that came home in book bags last week and send in any pictures over EExAT of work you do at home.
