As promised, here is our spiral art collection from Skipper F! It’s really brightened our corridor and puts a big smile on your face every time you walk past it. Our spiral art continued this week with a session outside. We went on a walk around the school grounds to collect beautiful and interesting natural objects that caught our eye. We used what we found to create spirals with our natural objects using Andy Goldsworthy’s work as our inspiration. This week we’ve enjoyed planting our own seeds. We’ve planted sunflowers and basil. It’s going to be fun watching them grow over the next couple of weeks. Our weight, length and capacity work has continued in maths this week. We’ve been filling containers and matching the capacity to the correct label and we’ve been measuring objects using different lengths of string.
