This week we’ve enjoyed listening to different space themed stories. Here we are role playing our favourite Whatever Next story and pretending to fly to the moon in our space rockets.
This week we’ve created moonscapes using lots of different materials to give our art work a textured feel and appearance. We love how different and inspired they all are.
The space scene on Monday really left an impression on us. Since then we’ve been inspired to make our own alien space hats and play tricks on our neighbouring classes!
Our maths work has been focused on 2D shape this week. We’ve used our shapes to create fun space pictures.
Look at our writing! This week we’ve been writing longer sentences in our phonics sessions and making lists of items we would take to the moon just like Baby Bear.

Thank you to everyone working from home for sending in pictures of the children and their learning. We cannot thank you all enough for all the support and effort going into the home learning. It’s been wonderful to see so please keep it coming.
